But that’s how life works at times. It gets in the way, you get pulled left and right, and it can take you a long time to find your way back. So to get back on track, you must first realise that you have drifted off the path, which is quite hard to see at times. 

Set your short-term goals and ensure they line up with long term objectives.

So here are my three tips to help you find your way back:

  1. Set your short-term goals and ensure they line up with long term objectives.
  2. Just begin, even if it is for only 5 minutes. You will be surprised how much more you will do even if you are “not in the mood”, this can cause a ripple effect and you end up doing more than 5 minutes, without feeling overwhelmed.
  3. Ask for help if you need it. Don’t let your ego get in the way!
